| My
aim is to reflect experience using paint. A part of this can
be elusive and unfathomable. The process is a journey towards
this sense. I draw initially to capture and understand what
I am looking at and hopefully unlock unfamiliarity. Through
the use of colour, shape, rhythym and texture the painting becomes
an object of experience, hopefully not an illustration but something
that involves the senses with a living, tangible life.
