All my ‘Figure in a Landscape’ courses this year elicited some really interesting results. Working on location with the figure as well as in the studio the course is designed to challenge you and enable you to think about the way you can develop ideas and make paintings by exploring a number of different approaches. The aim is to equip you with new possibilities and which can unlock something fresh in your practice allowing you to progress in a number of ways.

All the work produced this year was fantastic to see emerge. It is always interesting to work with all the different students, address their individual needs, thoughts and requirements to see what the outcomes are.
